We aim to integrate with the greater body of Christ, and provide opportunities for equipping, community events, service, and ministry partnerships.

 

While Oahu serves as an international vacation destination with its beautiful scenery and gorgeous beaches, it is not without troubles. The lost and the hurting are here, just as they are everywhere. YWAM Honolulu has the desire to see faith in action on the island of Oahu as much as throughout the nations.

Teaching Engagements

Is your local church, small group, or ministry team interested in learning more about missions? Our staff offer speaking engagements and teaching sessions on topics such as:

  • Evangelism – Identity of the Gospel, Proclamation, Navigating conversations, Sharing testimonies
  • Missions – Cross-cultural ministry, Unreached peoples, Planning missions trips
  • Kingdom Life – Hearing God, Christian disciplines, Supernatural ministries, Spiritual gifts
  • Biblical Studies – Inductive Bible study method, Bible overview, book seminars

Community Events

Community Meeting | Thursdays @ 6:30pm

Thursday night Community Meeting at YWAM Honolulu is a weekly service in which we invite our local family and friends of the ministry to join us on base for a night of worship, teaching, and fellowship, all centered around missional living.

Evangelism

During our quarters we have weekly evangelistic outreach in which we invite individuals to join our staff and students at different meet-up locations in Honolulu to share the gospel.

Partnerships

Community Outreach

Does your church, ministry, or community program coordinate volunteers? Our students and staff engage in routine community outreaches, serving alongside locals to meet specific needs on the island of Oahu; and we are open to new partnerships!

Team Hosting

YWAM Honolulu offers team hosting to groups both on- and off-island. We provide housing, meals, and guidance to service opportunities with local ministries, all with the aim of helping groups design a meaningful and enjoyable outreach on the island of Oahu.
