YWAM Honolulu focuses on Asia and the South Pacific, typically sending outreach teams to the Philippines, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, China, Bangladesh, and Thailand. Although the goal is always to “Make God Known,” each outreach is unique based on the location and needs at the time. Students may find themselves trekking through villages preaching the gospel, teaching english, taking care of widows and orphans, serving local churches and businesses, praying for the sick to be healed, working on clean water projects or helping communities rebuild from natural disasters.
