Aloha, we are the Burr family: David, Erin and Malia. David came to YWAM Honolulu in 1998 and during his first year here in Honolulu God began unfolding piece by piece a vision for something He wanted to see take place among the South Pacific Islands.
Erin grew up with many dreams which included missions and Africa. She came to Honolulu in 2004 and felt God bringing that alongside a calling to the Pacific Islands and the ministry of reconciliation.
Schools Currently Running
Jan. DTS and KDTS + Sept. DTS and SOME on outreach
We have a Korean and and English speaking DTS that started Jan 12 and will finish June 12, 2012.
We also have our Fall Discipleship Training School and our School of Missions and Evangelism on outreach to Taiwan, Philippines and Nepal and the S.O.M.E are in Tahiti.

Launch is a weekly community meeting that is open to the public. Join us for a time of worship and various international speakers focusing on missions awareness followed by a time of fellowship.

School of Biblical Studies
SBS in the Hawaiian Islands
Now accepting applications
Beginning April 2012 YWAM Honolulu and University of the Nations Kona will be embarking on a new and exciting partnership with 4 months of New Testament studies in Honolulu followed by 5 months of Old Testament Studies in Kona. The starting date for the school is April 2, 2012. There will be a transition week between NT and OT from July 30 – August 5 (the inter-island flight date is yet to be decided). The ending date for the school is December 19, 2012

School of Missions and Evangelism

The SOME will take you one-step further into your calling in ministry. The program builds upon the foundations laid in the DTS and begins developing you as a communicator of the Gospel. The school has a strong mission emphasis and includes intercession for the Nations, teaching on the biblical, historical and current strategies used in World Evangelization.

We have 3 rooms on base dedicated to Hospitality. We give priority to those who are here to teach in schools but whenever possible we open up our doors to friends and family of our staff and students.
